Fall Buttercream Cupcakes

Fall time is here and it always reminds me of this buttercream cake my mom used to make for me. I have been trying my whole adult life to recreate it, but I can never get it the same as hers. This recipe is a similar version of the one she used to make for me, it is a delicious recipe. I will continue on my quest to tweak this recipe until I find that perfect taste. Until then I will use this one and wonder to myself could it be possible that the reason I can't recreate it is because of my Read More... [Continue Reading]

Baked Broccoli

One thing I'm very thankful for is that my kids love trees! Yes, they love broccoli and call them tiny little trees! Hawaiian Bread

I don't know about you, but I have always loved Hawaiian bread. It is so good, actually a little too good because before I know it we have eaten all of it! Why is this bread so good? Pecanless Pie

Pecan pie is my husband's favorite pie, however he can not have pecans because of his Crohn's disease. He will sit there and try his best to dig out all of the pecans, so he can have just a little bit. So, I thought that I would surprise him this week by making him a pecanless pie. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it turned out great! He was absolutely thrilled when I finally told him the kind of pie I was making! It just warmed my heart to know he could enjoy his favorite pie, without Read More... [Continue Reading]

Homemade Hawaiian Pizza

I'm not a big fan of pizza, but when I had my first Hawaiian pizza I fell in love. Everyone makes it a little bit different, but the Hawaiian pizzas I love the most are the ones that have BBQ sauce on them. However, those places that make them like that are pricey, so I needed to come up with a recipe so I could have Hawaiian pizza at home. After making this recipe, I don't even want to eat the restaurant ones any more because well mine is that good! I love it, my kids love it too which is kind Read More... [Continue Reading]
