Oven French Toast - The Late Farmer

Oven French Toast

Ingredients:

1 Loaf of Bread

1/2 cup of Butter (melted)

1 cup of Brown Sugar

4 Eggs

1 1/2 cup of Milk

1 tsp of Vanilla

1/2 cup of Sugar

1 tsp of Cinnamon

1/2 cup of Powdered Sugar

Oven French Toast

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350˚. Trim all the slices of bread if you want, I did but you don’t have to! Mix your butter and brown sugar together, then spread evenly in the bottom of your baking pan. Place your bread slices on top of the brown sugar mixture. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together your eggs, milk, vanilla and 1 Tbsp of powdered sugar. Take half of your egg mixture and spread evenly on top of your bread slices. Next place another layer of bread slices on top of your egg mixture and then top those off with the remaining egg mixture. You want to combine your sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the last layer of bread slices. Place the baking dish in your oven for 45 minutes. Once your french toast is done, you want to sprinkle the powdered sugar over it and ….Enjoy!! : )
