We are doing holiday recipes this month and I wanted to do a recipe for Thanksgiving. I was racking my brain on what to do and thought how cool would it be to do a brownie recipe, shaped like a pumpkin, covered in M&M's! You know who doesn't love M&M's? I know my kids loved them, especially helping me pick out all the orange and green ones to use in this recipe! Oh yeah, they were helping alright by shoveling handfuls of M&M's in their little mouths! After making this recipe, I was Read More... [Continue Reading]
#6 Random Act of Kindness
Thanks to everyone for sharing their random acts of kindness with me! I love reading all of them and will be posting the stories on the main post soon! Today, I saved a duck from being squished on the road! This poor duck had a hurt leg and was crossing over a 5 lane road. Not only was he slow, it was close to it being dark outside so it was kind of hard to see him. I stopped my truck in the middle of the road and flashed my lights at the oncoming traffic so they would slow down to see him. Read More... [Continue Reading]

#5 Random Act of Kindness

She found one and we started unloading our items onto the conveyor belt, that is when I noticed the person's items in front of me. The lady in front of us had about a week's worth of groceries and I could tell Read More... [Continue Reading]
#4 Random Act of Kindness
One of my favorite things to do is give people eggs from my hens. I talk to a lot of people when I go anywhere and sometimes we get to talking about me raising chickens and ducks. The other day I was telling the lady about my story of why I started raising chickens and she said she would love to try some of the eggs. I told her where they were sold and we parted ways. The next day when I was out collecting my hen's eggs I decided to take some of the eggs to this lady. The lady loved them and Read More... [Continue Reading]
#3 Random Act of Kindness
The easiest act of kindness I think can be done when you go eat at a restaurant. If you have a good waiter, you should always leave a good tip no matter what. However, if you can you can always leave an extra tip above that 20% that you usually leave. For today's act of kindness I decided to leave a larger tip for our waiter. I'm hoping that this extra tip I gave him made his day and at least put a smile on his face. I know he did an excellent job taking care of us while we were at the Read More... [Continue Reading]
