Buttermilk Pie

Finally, it is done! I have accomplished something I have been trying to do for a very long time. Once and for all I have made my all time favorite pie….Buttermilk Pie! I’m so excited about this, I don’t know if you recall about a month ago I attempted to make it but came out with an entirely different pie? I named that one the Sweet Egg Pie…well, I no longer have to try to make this one because it is perfect and just in time for Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and enjoy this recipe!

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350˚.  Add in all of your ingredients to your mixing bowl, except for the flour and buttermilk. You want to mix these ingredients together thoroughly. Next turn your mixer off and add in your flour and mix on a low setting. While the mixer is still on a slow setting you want to pour the buttermilk in. Now you want to put the mixer on a medium setting and mix all ingredients well, about 5 minutes. Turn your mixer off and pour your buttermilk mixture into the pie shell. Place in the oven for 50 minutes on the lower rack. Remove your pie when it is no longer jiggly and when a toothpick is inserted into the middle of it comes out clean. Then relax, serve your pie this Thanksgiving and….Enjoy!! : )
