Ever since my sister introduced me to the mudslide drink, that has always been my favorite drink. However, I have had a white russian and even though it is very similar to the mudslide it still has a different “kick” to it. Personally, I think the mudslide is a much sweeter drink than the white russian, so if you aren’t in the mood to have something really sweet like a mudslide, I say go with the white russian!
But the question often comes up about the differences between a white russian and a mudslide and I will let you know what it is. A white russian has vodka in it and a mudslide does not. However, the mudslide uses an Irish cream (like Bailey’s) and a white russian does not. That is it, everyone can put their own spin to it…so if anyone ever asks you can tell them the difference! - 1/3 cup of Kahlua
- 1/3 cup of Vodka
- 1/3 cup of Heavy Cream
- 1 Tbsp Chocolate Syrup
- Pour all the ingredients above with a full glass of ice into a shaker.
- If you don't have a shaker, 2 of the same size glasses will do the trick.
- Now shake the ingredients together a few times.
- Pour into a glass and....Enjoy!! : )
