What do you think about when you are planning a trip to Las Vegas? I know the first thing I think of is where am I going to stay when visiting there. Thankfully, when I went on the #ENMNLV media tour I didn’t have to figure out where to stay and now when I go back I know where I want to stay! We stayed at the Tropicana and it was such a nice hotel!
Before you even walk through the doors to enter the hotel you get a tropical feeling and the staff that works outside goes out of their way to help you in any way they can! Upon entering you have the check-in desk to your left, the casino straight in front of you and an easy access elevator to take you to your room on the right. Everything you need is just right there, so you will not be hunting for anything in this hotel!
Also, located in the Tropicana is 4 restaurants, 3 bars and don’t forget 24 hour room service! You will be able to find a restaurant within the Tropicana that can satisfy everyone’s taste. The 4 restaurants that are located in the hotel are:
Biscayne – a steakhouse that specializes in aged steaks and also offers an excellent wine list
Bacio – you can find Italian cuisine here, with a perfect setting of an Italian restaurant
Beach Cafe – a 24 hour restaurant that features a wonderful buffet in the morning
South Beach Food Court – you can grab a quick bite to go or enjoy eating it within the restaurant
(Also, located right beside the South Beach Food Court is a 24 hour Starbucks!)
One of the cool things I found out about the Tropicana hotel is that it has a wide array of wedding services that they offer. Not only do they have a cute little wedding chapel located on site, but they have several outdoor areas where you can exchange your vows. Right now they are having a winter special going on, if you want to book your wedding or renew your wedding vows you get $100 off if it is booked during January or February of 2014!
If you are planning on having your wedding or any event while in Las Vegas, you might want to consider having it in the Havana Room located within the Tropicana. With an eye-catching crystal chandelier hanging over the dance floor, to the premium audio-visual technology, this venue is very chic and has ample room for your perfect event!
On our tour of the Tropicana property, we were able to check out the VIP suites. During the Tropicana’s $200 million dollar transformation they altered one of the top floor rooms into special VIP suites. There are 6 of these invite only VIP suites on this floor and they all come with a 24 hour butler service. The Tropicana really does pull out all the stops for these special VIP guests!
Now, I have saved the best for last….the Tropicana casino! I have gambled all my life, well ever since I turned 21 so I have been in a lot of casinos and played a lot of slot machines. In honor of my dad, who passed away in 2007, I went to play his favorite slot machine triple diamond and within 30 minutes of playing I won a payout of $675.00 on a 25¢ slot machine! WOW, I’m just as thrilled now as I was then because as soon as I won I cashed out! I would definitely have to say that gambling at the Tropicana casino was great and I can’t wait to go back there!
Tropicana Las Vegas has so much to offer and I would highly recommend staying here if you get a chance!
