PEEPS Spooktacular Dirt Pudding
This month our Blogger Recipe Challenge group was sponsored by Peeps! Peeps was very generous and sent all of us their Halloween Peeps line! When I received the package it was so hard to refrain from eating them! See I love Peeps, I always have and this was a big challenge for me! But I made sure I didn’t open them and started to plan what I kind of dessert I wanted to make with them.
I wanted a dessert that would be easy to make, that would show off the cute Halloween Peeps and be super yummy! So, I decided on making Peeps Spooktacular Dirt Pudding. It was a super simple recipe, but the best part was that I put the pudding in a trifle so I could display the cute Peeps! I think this is a perfect dessert for your Halloween party and your guests will absolutely love the pudding!
Peeps Spooktacular Dirt Pudding
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pkgs of Oreos (crushed)
2 boxes of French Vanilla Pudding
4 cups of Milk
4 Tbsp of Butter
8 ounces of Cream Cheese
1 cup of Powdered Sugar
8 ounces of Cool Whip
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a medium mixing bowl, combine your 2 boxes of pudding and 4 cups of milk. You want to mix together thoroughly and set aside. Then you want to cream your butter and cream cheese together. Once they are mixed together, slowly add in your powdered sugar into the cream cheese mixture. After all the powdered sugar is added, you want to mix in your pudding mixture and then add your cool whip and mix well. Next take your trifle and line the bottom with some of your crushed Oreos, you will now place your Peeps around the trifle on top of the Oreos. Next add in a layer of your pudding mixture and then line the top of it with crushed Oreos. You want to continue to do this until all of your pudding mixture is used. Next place toothpicks in the middle of the Peeps and stake them into the top layer of your dessert! Now enjoy!! : )
