Hey guys,
This week was a great week for me because my family and I were privileged enough to be invited to see an advance screening of Disney’s new movie Planes! We were all very excited to see Planes because we loved Cars and Cars 2. However, I have to tell you that Planes is not a sequel to Cars, but it is a spinoff to it. The world Planes takes place in has a similar feel to the Cars’ world.

A little about the movie, the main plane is called Dusty and he is a crop duster that is afraid of heights! Everyday Dusty dusts crops and daydreams about racing! Planes is all about Dusty fulfilling his racing dream by racing around the world. I love the message that Disney sends out for this movie, as well as other Disney movies!
The characters are too cute, each one of us had our favorite! My favorite character was El Chupacabra. He is new to the racing scene just like Dusty and also becomes good friends with him. His personality was so bubbly and outgoing, just like myself!
My husband’s favorite character was Skipper. Skipper helped Dusty with his training during the race.
My daughter’s favorite character was Ishani. She told me that she loved how beautiful she was!
My son’s favorite character was Dusty. He said he thought he was the nicest plane in the movie!
There are some other neat planes too and I would love to hear which one is your favorite! Also, I love getting to play fun activities with my kids before or after we go see a new movie and Disney has a few to offer you for Planes. You can check them out below!

So if you want to take your kids to see a movie soon, then take them to see Planes! They will love it! Planes is a good family movie and we can’t wait to add it to our DVD collection!
