CityPASS Chicago – Simple Easy to Use

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Lacey and I were lucky enough to get to attend a huge blogging conference in Chicago.  We have never been to Chicago, so we wanted to make sure we could see and do as many things as possible. So we started looking for something that would give us a great deal on the main attractions in Chicago.

Then we found it! CityPASS, they have the best deal to offer you if you are not sure what you want to do, if you want to save money and if you want to save time. We knew right then we wanted to use CityPASS because we were short on time and the way CityPASS works is that you get to skip the long lines and go right to the front! Also, CityPASS has included their top 5 attractions to see while in Chicago, so now we know what we want to see when we go there. And last but not least CityPASS will save you money, lots of it!

Top 5 Attractions CityPASS Chicago offers you:

Shedd Aquarium

Skydeck Chicago

The Field Museum

Adler Planetarium OR Art Institute of Chicago

John Hancock Observatory OR Museum of Science and Industry

When my friend Lacey and I arrived in Chicago, the first thing we did was head over to the John Hancock Observatory.Since we arrived at night time we couldn’t really tell how high the building was, but we soon discovered how high it was once we were in the observatory! We walked in and when they realized that we had a Chicago CityPASS, we bypassed all lines and went straight to the elevator! Then after a short 45 second elevator ride we were there! This is what we saw:

Absolutely stunning, right? Lacey and I enjoyed getting to see all of the magnificent views of Chicago from the John Hancock Observatory! If you ever go to Chicago, then you must go to the John Hancock Observatory!

The next day we set off to do some sightseeing in Chicago and we ended up at the Shedd Aquarium! We were so excited to go and explore the aquarium, but when we walked up to the front door we quickly realized there was a huge line to get in! Since we were short on time our heart sunk a little when we saw the line, because we knew it would eat up our time getting to explore the aquarium. Luckily, we asked a staff member if that was the line to get in and they said yes, but said if you have a CityPASS you just go right up to the front! Jackpot! We just saved probably about an hour and a half worth of time by having the CityPASS! We blazed up to the ticket counter and we were in! This is what we saw at the Shedd Aquarium:

We both loved the Shedd Aquarium and only wished that we would have had more time there, but hey we did save all that time by not having to wait in line! So, bottom line if you go visit a new city and want to see some of the top attractions CityPASS definitely has you covered! Be sure to check out their website to see what other cities they have CityPASS for!

Until next time,
