I have been struggling with what kind of recipes I wanted to make for you guys to have for the holiday recipes theme. In the end I decided I wanted to share with you a very simple one. I know that time is of the essence for this holiday season and that is why I wanted you to have some recipes that would be a time saver for you. These chocolate covered pretzels are so incredibly simple to make. The only problem with them is that if you are taking them to a holiday party, you might want to hide them or there might not be any left!
Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Ingredients:
36 Pretzel Rods
1 cup of Milk Chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp of Butter
Any kind of sprinkles for decoration purposes
Instructions:
Bring a medium saucepan with water to a boil. Then add your chocolate chips and butter into another saucepan that will fit snugly on top of the boiling water one. Place the saucepan with the chocolate chips on top of the boiling water pan, then gently stir the chocolate chips until every chocolate chip is melted. If you need to reduce heat on the boiling water do so. Turn the heat completely off after the chocolate chips are melted. Next take one pretzel rod and dip it into the melted chocolate, you want to twist and turn it until the tip of the pretzel is completely covered. Then take the chocolate covered pretzel and dip them into sprinkles of your choice. Once you have coated the pretzel with sprinkles, place it in a cup with the uncovered part of the pretzel at the bottom. You will want to repeat this process with every pretzel rod, then let them dry and…Enjoy!! : )
