This is another cookie recipe that my family came up with for me to make for them. They wanted me to try putting bacon in a chocolate chip cookie, personally I didn’t like the idea, but hey if they were willing to try it then I’m willing to make them! So, I came up with a recipe by taste that I thought would be great and you know what it turned out wonderful! I was very surprised how much I enjoyed them and my family was over the moon for them! You can’t really taste the bacon flavor too much, but it definitely adds a yummy overall flavor to the chocolate chip cookies! Let me know if you get to try the recipe, I know you will be hooked on them if you do!
Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 Eggs
1 1/2 stick of Butter (melted)
1 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp of Baking Soda
1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
6 slices of Bacon (crumbled)
2 cups of Flour
3/4 cup of Milk Chocolate Chips
Instructions:
Combine all of your ingredients together except for the bacon, chocolate chips and flour. Once the first ingredients are mixed together well, you will add in your bacon. After the bacon is mixed in you want to slowly add in your flour. Now that your dough is ready, you want to fold in your milk chocolate chips by hand. Preheat your oven to 350˚. Next you want to start making your cookie dough balls, then place them on a greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. When your cookie dough balls are ready, pop them in the oven for about 8 minutes. Then take them out and….Enjoy!! : )
