Bacon Cheddar Bread

A wonderful bread recipe for you, this is my creation of a bacon cheddar bread. I think you will love it because my family sure did! On a couple of occasions I would slice a piece of the bread and eat it for a quick bite for lunch. I mean you have everything you ever needed in one piece….

Bacon Cheddar Bread

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of Bacon (crumbled)

1 1/4 cup of Cheddar Cheese

1 cup Warm Water

2 1/2 cups of Flour

4 Tbsp Butter (melted)

5 Tbsp of Sugar

2 tsp of Active Dry Yeast

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine your bacon, cheese, water, butter and sugar together. Gradually add in your flour and active dry yeast to the mixer. After all the ingredients are mixed together, you need to knead your dough. Knead your dough for about 5 minutes and then take it out of the mixing bowl and put the dough in a bowl. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise for about 1 – 1 1/2 hours. Preheat your oven to 350˚. Now place your dough in a greased loaf pan and place in the oven for about 30-45 minutes. The key to baking this bread is to not bake it too much. When your bread is done, let it cool down for about 30 mins to 1 hour and then….ENJOY!! : )
